Okay, I've had this little gem for about 5 days now. I was looking for a ten inch tab, but didn't have a lot of cash. I already have the Acer Iconia A-100, which is a great tablet. But i wanted a 10 incher. Picked one of these up just to try a larger screen than my 7 inch android tab. I am very pleased with this tablet. Plenty of room for apps, speed seems great compared to my little tablet and my android phone. It feels good in my hand/hands even when using it as an e-reader at night. Wifi range is fine..have had no issues connecting, and the on board lan jack is very convenient since a hard-wired lan is much faster than wifi. (I happen to keep an extra cable in my living room).
The only reason I was going to ding a star is I did feel the battery life (about three hours in full use) was not the greatest, but then again it is one fourth the price of an IPAD... I have had two opportunities to use this side by side with an IPAD and frankly the differences were negligible in terms of surfing speed, loading apps, etc. Obviously an IPAD screen has higher resolution and a slightly better touch response, but the Irulu is still easy t o read, very bright and videos look great. I enjoy typing.......

I was at first leary of buying something of this nature which is made by Coby, a manufacturer of basically cheap, low end electronics.
I purchased this unit (K-Mart, $149.95(save $30) in 12/12/10 - 12/19/10 AD - I also bought an additional year replacement contract for under $18 - a good idea on new electronics!), and immediately plugged it in to charge the battery (it notified of full charge after 1-1/2 hours). I decided to play with the unit a little, since I could not resist. I will say, I was impressed with the quality of the unit,.......

Review : Some drawbacks, but a solid product
I ordered this netbook because I wanted the functionality of a notebook with some of the features of a tablet (most notably, for reading and highlighting PDFs and the like). This little Asus has impressed me so far on both accounts.
I read the reviews of the folks with the Win 7 starter/ 1GB RAM version, and must say I have not had any of the problems they have had with performance. The touch screen works well enough, although when I updated my video driver it stopped working, so I had to roll back. There are a few spots at the edge of the screen where it gets a little less accurate, but on the whole I find it works the way I need it to.
The biggest problem I've had with the machine is, unfortunately, the charger. It ran very very hot for about a month, and now, not at all. I'm writing this with less than an hour left on my battery, and until a replacement charger gets to me (ordered separate ly- I have not been able to get through to Asus warranty support, so there.......

Excellent tablet! I'm running Windows 7 RC on mine, and it's got the horsepower to do it right. I added 4GB of RAM and a 16GB solid state drive in the expresscard slot for ReadyBoost, and the difference is notable, although I haven't run any benchmarks to back up my perception. Wi-fi is working well. Screen is very glossy and reflective: that is almost unusable outdoors on a sunny day.
You can hook up a real keyboard via usb cable (provided)-however there is only 1 usb port and 1 storage card reader.
The Zeepad is fairly responsive, youtube works best via the app that is preinstalled, but you can't install flash into any of the browsers (the default one and firefox is what I attempted it on).
The screen is truly as good as my desktop lcd-very nice and vivid colors. The speakers are very weak, just barely hearable, but I rarely needed to go above volume 3 with headphones.
There are plenty of apps that will allow you to play any media files not supported by the default player.
Tested searching driving directions via google maps-no issues there, except it is next to impossible to use street vie w (it just doesn't scale well on such a small device).

I ordered the tablet from TomTop on a Monday morning at about 2am and received it 4 days later on Thursday from Hong Kong. I didn't even know it was possible to ship something international that fast. The tablet is pretty sturdy with a big screen. The screen is a resistive touch screen like most cheaper tablets, which means you have to actually touch a little harder than just a slight finger swipe on an iPad but not a big deal. It plays HD video nicely. Tried many video file types and they all worked without a problem...no skipping or stuttering. It has one micro-SD card slot. I use an 8gb card in mine and haven't had any problems with it. It also has 2 usb ports on the side which I use for thumb drives and a laser mouse. I have never tried a keyboard, but I have tried 2 different laser mice and they both installed and worked nicely. If you don't like the resistive touch screen, just use a mouse. It is much easi er. I have used my 8gb thumb drive and 8gb micro-sd card to install apps I.......

Review : Sweet little tablet
Tablet is very nice quality while being very affordable. Responds fast, screen is very nice and crisp. The buttons on this are actually buttons so you don't have to worry about accidentally putting your finger on them and closing what you're doing. The other tab I bought at the same time from a different manufacturer has the same "buttons" but they are part of the capacitive screen and it's quite easy to hit those while you're holding it and leave what you're doing. Wish this manufacturer would have made a more affordable 8-9 inch tablet because I would have certainly bought one of those as well. We originally wanted to get an iPad -- we wanted portable internet browsing and an e-book reader (ie, Kindle), the kids wanted to play touch screen games, and we wanted to be able to stream YouTube videos. However, we also wanted to be able to video chat (using Skype). My wife also wanted to be able to manage her photos (from camera's SD memory card). We also wanted to be able to access web sites with Flash content. And I wanted to be able to print to any printer (not just the very few iPad AirPrint-enabled printers, which we don't own). And it would be nice to be able to install the full Office suite.
This is the only device that meets all of our needs! It's also nice to have the USB connectivity (for DVD drive, direct printers, 3g/4g card, etc.). And we have the "power" button set to put the computer to "sleep" (as opposed to turning off the device), which gives us the "instant on" capability. And we love the included dock's HDMI port, for streaming any video content to our TV!
